Ambassadors are esteemed volunteers within the Affton-Lemay Chamber, acting as official representatives. They play a crucial role on the front lines of our meetings and events, serving to educate potential members and guests, extend warm welcomes to new members, and foster valuable networking opportunities. This dedicated committee convenes monthly to strategize and coordinate their efforts. Ambassadors actively participate in a variety of Chamber events, including meetings, ribbon cuttings, social hours, and notably facilitate the Keys to Chamber Success Seminar.
ANNUAL AWARDS & DINNER AUCTION GALA Saturday, January 24, 2026
The evening gala celebrates outstanding individuals from the past year, including the Business Person of the Year, Citizen of the Year, First Responder of the Year, Exceptional Educators, and Beautification Award recipients. The event serves as a fundraiser and is open to the community. A dedicated committee works from August to January to meticulously plan and organize the gala, which involves tasks such as securing auction donations, sponsorship, and inviting attendees.

Hosting a barbecue fundraiser requires meticulous planning and execution. Every two years, the Affton & Lemay community releases a publication containing vital information and membership listings. The committee actively seeks membership for advertising purposes and manages the distribution of directories to member establishments.

A dedicated committee works tirelessly from April to July to meticulously plan and execute the event, which involves tasks such as securing sponsorships, gathering prize donations, recruiting golfers, and orchestrating the efforts of volunteers.

Teams of 4 adults (21+) compete by completing challenges of different point values at locations around Affton & Lemay and submitting photos. The committee meets May-August to plan and stage the event, including soliciting sponsorships, prize donations, and teams.
