Affton-Lemay Chamber of Commerce Launches First Giving Tuesday Campaign to Benefit Scholarships
The Affton-Lemay Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its inaugural Giving Tuesday campaign, with proceeds dedicated to supporting scholarships for senior students at Affton and Lemay area high schools. These scholarships, awarded each spring, celebrate students who demonstrate exceptional community service, reflecting the Chamber’s commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders.
Giving Tuesday, a global movement that encourages charitable giving and community support, offers the perfect platform for our organization to highlight the importance of education and civic engagement. Every contribution made during the campaign will directly fund scholarships, empowering students who have gone above and beyond in serving their communities.
Scholarship recipients will be honored at the Affton-Lemay Chamber luncheon on April 10, 2025. This special event will bring together community leaders, educators, and local business owners to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding students.
By contributing to the campaign, donors are not just investing in the future of individual students—they’re also helping to strengthen the fabric of our community. Each student awarded exemplifies the values of service, dedication, and leadership, and their success is a reflection of the collective efforts of the Affton and Lemay areas.
Together, we can make a lasting impact and help these students continue their education while enriching our community.
You don’t have to wait until GivingTuesday to make a difference—donations are open now! Text 2024ALCCfund to 41444, click the link, and support scholarships for local high school seniors who excel in community service. Give today or anytime leading up to December 3, 2024!
